Big Hero Birthday

jelly-stool-gi-peds-nursing-870x320Today is my sister’s birthday. The big one-one.

Yesterday, however, was the party. Big Hero 6 is kind of a big deal to the two of us, so… it definitely had influence. 😀 The four of us dressed up (Dad as Fred, Mom as Aunt Cass, my sister as Honey Lemon, and myself as a genderbent Tadashi); I made Baymax thank-you cards, cake, and cake cover. Because, yes, I fangirl. So here are a few pictures! Apologies for the white-out-ed faces: I was too lazy to try to match faces and photoshop them onto us. The little Baymax I’m holding was crocheted by an online friend; she also made the template for Honey’s purse that I printed out and taped to the gift bag.

the cake cover, painted to look like Baymax’s storage compartment; say “ow” to activate Baymax inside! 😀 (clever Dad. wish he told me he was going to do that, ’cause I would have caught that on video if I’d known….)
